• Consumption of alcoholic beverages
• High altitude in hills
• Forces of nature like high winds, hurricanes, flooding, earthquakes, etc.
• Exhaustion due to heat or weather conditions
• Civil unrest, terrorism, or criminal activity
• Quality of medical services in remote areas
• Food poisoning or health issues
• Cancellations, delays, or modifications by tour operators
• Overbooking of hotels or transportation
• Industrial actions, strikes, or lockouts

• Quality and availability of medical services in remote areas

• Unhygienic conditions or contaminated food and water
